Tsavo National Park, one of Kenya's largest and oldest parks, is divided into two sections: Tsavo East and Tsavo West. Known for its vast, rugged landscapes, Tsavo offers a diverse range of ecosystems, from savannahs and arid plains to volcanic hills and lush forests. It is home to large populations of elephants, often distinguished by their red-tinged dust, as well as lions, giraffes, zebras, and numerous bird species. Tsavo East is famous for its expansive plains and the Yatta Plateau, while Tsavo West boasts stunning features like Mzima Springs and the Shetani Lava Flow.
